Barudan Service Planning from Sample to Shift Handoff

The useful service question is not simply whether a machine can sew a logo. It is whether the selected setup, operator routine, maintenance access, and distributor response path can support the work your schedule requires.

Three service conversations before installation

Each conversation produces a practical record for purchasing, production, and training teams.

Application Review

Provide an actual stitch file, finished dimensions, garment construction, backing, thread type, color count, and expected batch. The review identifies fixture constraints, needle or thread considerations, and the variables that must be held constant during a demonstration. It also separates machine-capability questions from digitizing or material-preparation questions.

Site Readiness

Document access route, machine footprint, working clearance, electrical requirements, compressed-air needs where applicable, networking expectations, climate, lighting, and operator position. A site walk reduces avoidable installation delays and makes future service access part of the layout rather than an afterthought.

Operator Handoff

Build the handoff around the approved sample: loading sequence, thread path, bobbin checks, hooping method, file selection, startup inspection, safe stoppage, recovery after a thread break, cleaning, and issue escalation. Supervisors receive a repeatable checklist instead of relying on memory.

Define

Record production targets and the materials that represent normal work, not an idealized sample.

Test

Run the intended design and capture machine settings, runtime, defects, stops, and operator interventions.

Prepare

Confirm placement, utilities, accessories, spare consumables, documentation, and training attendance.

Transfer

Approve the sew-out, archive the recipe, name escalation contacts, and schedule the first review.

Reproducible verification: repeat the same design on the same substrate with the intended thread, backing, hoop, color sequence, and operating speed. Log elapsed runtime, thread breaks, bobbin changes, visible registration errors, trims, and manual interventions. A result is comparable only when these conditions are recorded.

Scope boundary

A passed sample does not remove production variables

Fabric stretch, seam thickness, hoop distortion, artwork density, thread lot, environmental conditions, and operator loading can change the result. High-speed settings may reduce cycle time but can increase thread stress or reveal registration issues. Multi-head output improves parallel capacity only when upstream preparation and downstream finishing can keep pace. These limitations belong in the acceptance record.

Send the production brief before the demo

Include one representative artwork file and one difficult substrate. Add target quantity, shift length, color count, available floor space, operator experience, and any cap, tubular, or specialty-fixture requirement. The distributor can then prepare a test that reflects your real decision.
